Angel Richa’s Journey from Aspiring Civil Aspirant to Successful actress & producer
While everyone wants to be recognized as someone successful, Angel Richa wants to be taken as someone who never gave up and fought back with every obstacle of her life with the clear vision to make her dreams into reality. Born in the small city of Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, Angel Richa soon relocated to Chhatarpur(m.p.) with her parents as they both mother and father got transfer in their teaching job and then she spend her major grooming years there. Being a dedicated student who was good in all spheres of academic, always counted as a topper in the class and she was also good in cultural activities, she completed her entire schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya. Her beauty and simplicity drew most people’s attention towards her fetching heartwarming compliments. Though introverted by her basic nature, Angel Richa has always found her calling in music and believes that she has been blessed by God with her talents, her parents also believes that she is very lucky for them ,since her birth they had started growing from all over the aspects of life.However, in 2007, she moved to Delhi for her IAS or alternative exam preparations, but she ended up at an interview for the job of an air hostess and proved to be one of the top performers there.
Selected for the job on her birthday, that is 23 May , which she believes to be her lucky day, her parents also had a chance of heart and allowed Angel Richa to take up the training which would last for a year.
During her training, she even came back to Chhatarpur for giving her undergraduate exams and also participated in some modeling contests in Bhopal, in 2009. Angel Richa also earned the title of “Miss Madhya Pradesh, Miss Talented” in 2009. Her performance was so spellbinding that she was given charge to train the other contestants during the program. Then by the continuous positive nagging of her friends, Angel Richa gave an interview for a job in Delhi and again proved successful. She then started working in a prestigious institution in South EX Delhi, and her teaching experience proved as one of the most valued experiences for her. She was even honored as the ‘Best Choreographer’ in one of the dance competitions for her exemplary work.
In 2011, Angel Richa moved to Indore with her sister, and there she realized that people actually value art and artists and so she decided to open her institute and which has completed 12 years as one of the most appreciated institutions. While Angel Richa taught many students for free, many of her students stayed with her for a long. Three of her students have been with her through all these years and whilst Richa’s engagement in work and household chores, they saw her hidden potential and persuaded her to follow her dreams. In Angel Richa’s words, “ Mei Ek shunya hu, aur is shunya ki Kimat ko mere baccho (students) ne badhaya hai,hamesha mere aage ek ank banakar maltab hamesha meri har pareshani mein aage khade hokar “
With this appreciation came social bullying for Angel Richa, where she was criticized for being too much into her looks or being self-centered. However, she knew that she had to focus on those who have stayed with her when everyone turned their backs on her. So she along with, Prathmesh sir and Abhishek sir, who were initially her students turned into her faculties there in her institute, composed a song and recorded it. Then they worked day and night keeping aside all social and physical obligations to find that person who would listen to the song and take it to new heights. They had invested all their financial resources for the production of the song ,borrowed a loan from bank then they were investing all their time to make the song a success. As hard work always pays off, Angel Richa found a brother-like figure on social media who not only appreciated her for her work but also motivated her by helping her reach another level which was White Hill Music.
Angel Richa exclaims how she still remembers the day when White Hill Music approved of their song and her eyes fill with tears of joy as she relives that moment.
The song “Chhad Jaane De” was released on 31st January 2022 and it was within 8 days that the song crossed 1 million views and over 11 thousand likes, and more 2 thousand comments. People loved their hard work in that song and appreciated for their social messages found in that video of “chhad jaane de “The audio made it steadily to the Instagram reels of many and the lyrics appealed to all as it was as per the evils that exist in the modern day but was beautifully portrayed. Angel Richa when talking about her life through all these years of hardships, failure, and success says, “jalne do jalne do zamaane ko jalne do badle ki aag mein unko bhi marne do”.
Angel Richa and her companions are now working on more songs and are being approached by companies that initially rejected them and this depicts the success and growth they have achieved in these years. Angel Richa believes that there are both good and bad people in the world as she keeps herself very social and grounded but it is on us how we chose to react to both of them. It is never easy to start a new career or a new business, but it is even not easy to maintain the one we already have, Angel Richa gives a ray of hope to all who wish to follow their dreams showing that anything can be achieved if we follow it with a pure heart and dedication.
